What Does It Mean to Enjoy Life? (A Definition)

We learn the word “enjoy” very early on in life. We’re told that enjoying something means finding pleasure in something. However, when we think about life, we may often think about our work, goals, or responsibilities. While all of these are important, we can sometimes forget that a big part of life is to enjoy it while it’s still here. Enjoying life means taking advantage of what we have around us—like our families, friends, partners, homes, and hobbies. 

Enjoying life means being aware of the present moment and trying to experience all of the things that make us happy to the fullest extent.
