No one is immune to self-doubt. It’s in our nature to criticize ourselves, to unfavorably compare ourselves to others, and convince ourselves of our own inadequacy. We tend to focus on our perceived failures and the things we feel poorly about over our successes and our abundance. We may see ourselves as incapable and unworthy from time to time, but the unflattering narratives we construct for ourselves aren’t an accurate reflection of reality. In these moments we’ve simply forgotten our true selves.
Confidence quotes are a helpful way to remind ourselves of our resilience, our strength, and our capacity for greatness.

Why Is Confidence Important?

Confidence is essential for our well-being and success in our endeavors. Research has demonstrated that people who are more confident in themselves are much more successful in making changes that improve their health and well-being than people with low self-confidence (Cervone, 2000). Research has also shown that people with low self-confidence are more likely to experience burnout and tend to have lower overall satisfaction with their daily lives (Bravata et al., 2020).

Benefits of Confidence Quotes

Confidence quotes are a quick and easy way to find inspiration, courage, and belief in ourselves when we are feeling lost and low. Simply reading through some of your favorite quotes may be all you need to help remind you how powerful you are. They can also be used as a kind of mantra that we can repeat to ourselves to help us retain our confidence throughout the day.
