Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior experience?
This training was designed for those who are already working in some sort of helping capacity (e.g., coaches, consultants, HR, therapists, counselors, teachers, etc...). It's completely fine if you have no prior experience, but the training is somewhat advanced, so previous experience or psychology courses are a plus. 

How is the training delivered?
The training is delivered online. Training materials will be available on your members-only page on the berkeleywellbeing.com website. Our discussion group will be on LinkedIn. The live seminars will be held over video. 

Do I have to participate?
Yes. This is an active training. All trainees should plan to do the homework each week and participate in the Socratic seminars. (Feel free to contact us if you have special needs).

What is the group size?
This cohort of trainees will be limited to 35 people so that all trainees get the support and attention they need.

How big is the time commitment?
You'll need to devote approximately 5 hours per week to the training for the full 10-week intensive. This time will be spent doing readings, watching videos, doing exercises, participating in the online discussion, and attending seminars.

How do I get the certificate? 

• Complete all the seminar prep. Each week, there will be reading and exercises related to the week's topic. Please complete this prior to our live seminar so that you can participate effectively in the online discussion and the seminar. 
• Contribute to online discussion. Each week, you'll need to contribute 3 questions, comments, or responses to our online discussion board.
• Attend 8 of 10 seminars, and contribute to the live seminar discussions. 
• Submit the final reflections "homework assignment". In the final assignment, you'll reflect on your "zone of genius" and how you plan to apply what you learned in your work.

Can I get a payment plan?
Yes. You can spread your payment across 4 interest-free payments. These are billed monthly.
