What is Planning?
Planning refers to the thought process, strategies, and actions we take to solve a problem or reach a goal. It involves prioritizing and making compromises. Good planning is essential for reaching any desired outcome, including happiness.
Why is it important to have this skill?
Planning is probably the most overlooked, yet useful, happiness skill. Carefully thinking through the processes that will help us achieve happiness greatly increases the ease, speed, and likelihood of successfully reaching our happiness goals. Developing a well-supported strategy and approach ensures that we do eventually achieve our happiness goals.
